Pests

Unity C# 3D 2D

My personal big project on which I've been working for a long time.

On this one I'm doing everything myself, from programming to 3D and 2D art, music and SFX. It's a 3D first person game with focus on immersion and stealth.

The main premise is being a small rat in a big world, and the player has to use stealth and cunning to survive against bigger enemies. The game is set in an early 2000s Poland apartment.

I want to give the player a sense of scale and importance to each encounter and decision they make in regards to resource management.

Tunnel Rat

Unity C# Game Jam SFX

Dungeon crawler game where you play as a rat embarking on a quest through the mine tunnels. In search of a cure for your loved one

It was made for 7-day long game jam "Very serious game jam" organised by Juniper Dev on itch.io. I've organised a team of 4 people and again took the role of a programmer and SFX producer. The other 3 people were doing 2D, 3D and Music.

The theme was "Spin to Win". So we made a combat system based on spinning the drill to align magic gems in correct order to perform different type of attacks.

Below is the vlog-style video showcasing the process of development and gameplay.

Tunnel Rat - post game jam development

Unity C# 3D 2D

After the game jam We've decided to continue working on the game and make it a fully polished product.

Since then we've introduced more depth to interaction and combat systems. Made an equipment system and improved graphics post processing.

It's still a work in progress, but we're still aiming to make it a short and rich experience so I believe we'll be wrapping it up soon.

Selfdestruct

Unity C# Game Jam Music

FPS game where you operate a stationary defense system whose purpose is to protect inside of the computer from a virus.

It was made during my first ever game jam "mieszanka studencka" organised by art university in Poznań. I've been invited to it by my friend who studies there. Together we made a team of 3 people, me being the only programmer (and SFX/music producer) and the other two doing 2D and 3D art. We had 3 days to make a game from scratch, and we managed to make a playable prototype.

The theme was "Matter of Time". So our concept revolved around surviving against waves of enemies as long as possible. Even though losing was only a "Matter of Time"

It was a great learning experience and gave me a taste of what it's like to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with a small team.
